"Powered by MV" screen?

Is there a way to change the "Powered by MV" screen? and if there is, would I still be allowed to have my game go commercial?

The splash screen is just a plugin. It has parameters to turn it off, change how long it shows, replace it with a different image, add your own splash screen, etc. You can even remove the plugin entirely. It's actually pretty nice if you want to add your own simple splash.


I have seen nothing about the screen being required, it'd be kinda weird if it was, but I can't claim to be the authority for that.

Also, the file is on your system folder, so you can just change it too.

It is not required (if it was, they would have put it in the very first version and as part of the editor, not a plugin, so you didn't have the ability to remove it).  You can turn it off, or you can use your own image.

Yes, you can.  You always have been able to, with all of the RPG Makers.
