Hi, I was wondering how do I set up a the battle format in a battle processing event?

In RPG Maker 2003 you would get the following battle format.
>Normal. (Default)
>Back Attack.
>Preemptive.
>Surprise Attack.
>Pincer Attack.

And an additional option just for:
>Preemptive Attack.

This would give the player or enemy an advantage by allowing them to take the first strike or escape easily, just like in an ambush or stealth attack.

Is there a plugin/script for this? Am I missing something?

you can't do this by default.
The options for preemptive and surprise attack only exists for the random battles, not for evented battles
The other options don't exist at all, but you might be able to simulate them using event facings etc.

There are plugins that can be used to solve the problem however.
For example tsukihime has a plugin that allows setting surprise and preemptive options by variables and another plugin that allows you to execute a common event before the battle starts (with several options of modifying the battle in it).

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
