So I've been doing some work using the mouse/touch capabilities of MV lately and I've come up against a problem I can't seem to figure out. The Situation: An event (Priority: Same as characters) with an 'On event touch' trigger is moving generally towards the player (i.e. not 'Move towards player,' just generally in that direction). The player clicks/taps on the event. The player character moves towards the event (now both player character and event are moving towards each other). Where the player and event should meet, the player auto-pathfinds around the event and heads to the location originally clicked/tapped. Incidentally, if the event's priority is set to 'Below characters,' the player will walk over top of the event, but often not trigger it. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is there a way to prevent the player from auto-avoiding moving events? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
