Sorry if I sound totally ignorant (but I just had to check out this game after hearing rave reviews all over this forum), but just to clarify things... PPv5 is like Episode 1.0 and PPv6 a.k.a. Episode 1.5 is the direct sequel?

P.S. Also, where does the Porcupine Princess fit in?

Don't worry. Because if I'm not wrong, that confusion is exactly the main purpose that these two serve for. I'm guessing (and hoping) it will (almost) all be unfolded in Porcupine Princess.

I just finished my LP of this, but I'm really not happy with it (my LP, not the game.) Am I the only one that was totally lost story-wise, even after rewatching NicoB's playthrough of PP1? Also the last boss kicks my ass even on easy mode. I can't help but feel like I'm missing a trick...

Kid's equipment, Clear Light, should be unequipped to win against the Goddess. Since she uses Black element against you, that's why he dies so fast...and why checking your equipment and menu is beneficial

Strategy #1

Use Tyrfling at the start of the battle.

Defend and Keep throwing Ruby Roses at the goddess/Use Little Meteor

Keep Making Kid use chocolate nuggets on himself

If low on HP Defend then Serenade Bell. This will make Sairen always go first.

Once Kid's TP is 100 use Akasha.

Phantasmagoria should activate around Turn 5/6 when you used it.

Boss would be dead by Turn 5 if you did it right.

Thanks for the tips Will record an extra episode in which I don't suck at the final boss haha. LP is now complete at 4 parts, just gotta upload them! I hope you enjoy the LP. Sorry for sucking at the game but at least you get an impression of what a very average-skilled gamer experiences!!

Whew i just played this and beat the goddess boy she was tough i hate to see how hard she would be in the completed game.Though very clever of the creator of adding hidden skills. This just makes the game even more fun to play.

Dammit. The Ralph & Princess bosses have ridiculous steroids ; 5 attacks each plus magic for one and attack buff to top it...


Is there some kind of debuff or at the least a def buff that doesn't involving constant garding ? Besides the IA is really well done, they don't wanna hit little Naia in Tiger pose, wich means i nearly always get damage on other team members and don't get to counter attack.


Actually its only the meteor that's giving me problems, since Naia is weak to magic and that thing hits everyone + there's no group heal potion so no way to counter it.


Oh and please, something other than levelling would be cool (i'm around lvl 14 but Princess gets around 6000 - 7000 damage, but if her max HP is over 10 000 i'll just quit XD)

PS : not sure if its the right topic since i'm playing the Princess Princess V5 and found loads of dowload for different ones oô

I had to hide your post since spoilers. And nooo, I was planning to update this to PrinPrin5.5. Do you think you can stop for a bit and wait? ;w; I mean I'm sorry! I didn't expect someone is still playing it!

There is a group heal potion if you get Sairen! It's called Serenade Bells. In 5.5 you get them without Sairen but those bells are the only things you have for the rest of the game. You can still beat the game without Sairen in the overall party (not exactly battle) but it's really, really hard.

The combat in Another Story is... interesting to say the least

I wasn't a big fan of Another Story; it was interesting, sure, but it didn't have the charm of Princess Princess. I have, however, thoroughly enjoyed Princess Princess and have played it through twice - soon to be a third time with the new changes - and I'd love to see the sequel whenever it gets done.

I think I'm becoming addicted to Choco Nuggets (yum yum).

PP: Another Story was short but...amazing! You've done a great job with this game Nessy, I love it.

I had to play again PrinPrin first to fully understand the story and I have still some questions left...ahahah I know I'm terrible, whatever...I will bother you on Skype about that...lol

I loved the engaging dialogues between Sairen and The Kid...good writing skills there, also their interaction with myself (the player) was a nice touch.

The mapping was great, nice use of the RTP materials and your busts of the RTP characters are so beautiful, makes me want to use them...ahah

Nobody here mentioned that gorgeous battle HUD and the custom menu...OMG awesome work...and it's BLUE! I freakin' love blue things.

I played on Normal Mode, the battles were challenging and not hard at all, even the Grand Guardian wasn't that hard to deal with, also the chain skills, I love this feature in the game (it's rare that an RM game uses chain skills).

The puzzle area was easy but fun.

Nice touch on the ending part, I was impressed...those magic columns and the rest, it was so awesome, such nice effects...

You sadist! Took me a while to realize that I had to remove the Clear Light on Kid to win against the Arcanian Goddess (I lost a lot of times against her!)...ahah

Then I followed your suggestion on the thread here, I used the Ruby Roses and Little Meteor, and I was abusing the Choco Nuggets on Kid until he got 100% of his TPs, then at the end I finally used Akasha to win the battle (YES, GO DIE!).

Oh and truly superb work of art in the ending, I have no words...

I think I said everything, but I haven't killed the Lucky Fairy yet...ahah

This game was a masterpiece, the storyline was so interesting, my only complaint is that it ends too soon...ahah

It was nice to see Remius in the ending, even if I don't understand what the hell he was doing there...XD

I conclude saying that I demand IRL the power to restart the position of a boulder by talking to it, seriously (it would be useless but I love the concept...ahah).

Since you said to wait for the updated version, I will only say two words for now regarding the original PrinPrin.
