I currently have a problem which is driving me up the wall. If anyone could help me with this I would be so grateful.

My problem is that whenever I import custom "character" graphics, the display is always just a little bit off. Example in this picture below: (the part that has been circled is a "character" graphic, and as you can see it doesn't match up the way it's supposed to.)

I have been driving myself crazy trying to figure out what is causing this, it is doing this for every single custom graphic I make. I am editing the graphics in Gimp and my dimensions are perfect 32x32. Here is a photo of the graphic in the editor with the dimensions:

Does anybody know what could be causing this and/or how to solve it. I'll appreciate any help I can get. Thank you in advance.

Add '!$' on your character name. For example "!$fence.png" (the important part is the '!')

Oof, this "side project" of mine is starting to get as complex as a VS plugin, at least as far as plugin parameters are concerned. I think I now understand why a plugin like this doesn't already exist(that I know of). Learning a lot while trying to make it work though!
Had apparently not checked Itch for 3 months, kind of forgot I had an account rofl.
One side of me is: "lineart is so awful", the other side is just: "huh, decent" :kaoswt2:
