Hello, so I just started my first parallax map and I'm experiencing problems with lighting. Im using the Kaus ultimate region plugin. The program I'm using for the lighting is Gimp. I have the layer with the lighting on addition mode set to 100% opacity. The lighting displays properly while on gimp and in the rpg maker editor parallax image( upper screen shot). But when I export this layer as a png, it gives me a blank image. I tried adding this blank image into the light folder that I created for the kaus plugin and it gave me obvious results in game(lower screen shot). The kaus plugin is working fine so I suspect it the problem with my lighting is due to the fact im using a layer with addition mode, since it's the only layer that is set  to that mode.Every other layer I exported as a png displayed properly but were set to normal mode. So can anyone pls help me figure out why the addition mode layer is coming out as a blank png? Any help is greatly appreciated.

RomDino, thanks for replying :) . Just to clarify, the screenshot with the bright light is what I want. The screen shot below this one, is what I am getting when I play test :/

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
