Hello Forum.

I am currently working on a little game and, just for testing, I exported it as an .exe (With "Encrypted Package" and "Include RTP Files" marked as YES). When I executed the .exe, everything seemed just fine. The custom title screen was there, and the menu worked perfectly. Then I entered the game, and the screen turned white. The text boxes I put in the game were there (Intro sequence), but the graphics and the player weren't. In the playtest inside RPG Maker, everything worked flawless, until I exported it. Can someone please help me?

That's how it shouldn't be:

And this is how it should be:

Several possibilities - either your game.exe has been damaged, or you used a script that changed the commands to access the archive, or your RTP has been damaged.

Please test without encryption - does that work? (just for testing, don't distribute that way)

Try to reinstall the RTP if the same happens without encryption.

Try to make a new project, export and test that - that way you'll see if the error is in your project (scripts) or in the engine (reinstall Ace)

It might also be an access restriction - where did you extract the game to?

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
