I thought (I mean, I KNOW) I set it correctly, but the character can still walk over them.

Any and all correspondence is greatly appreciated!

Is top-left tile on tab B of that tileset a star?

EDIT: BTW, may wanna remove the 'up' and 'down' arrows on that second image you show there.

Thanks, but... Maybe I should have explained better.

The player is supposed to be able to pass behind the top of the book shelf, but the game is still treating it like all four tiles are set to O.

I know. Does the second tab of the tileset have a star in the top-left corner?

Never mind. I'm an idiot. I figured it out.

Thank you, and I apologize for wasting your time.

Second tab top left tile should have no bearing on this, as that's only used in areas where there's no other B-E tile used. The bookshelves ARE on the B-E tabs, so the passage settings on those tiles is what will be used.

I would be very interested in hearing what the problem/solution actually was.

Well, to risk myself further embarrassment, I'll explain.

I opened a project I hadn't worked on in a few months. I had already created the maps a few months back, but I never set the Walk/Don't Walk tags on the individual tiles. So today I went in and set them. I couldn't seem to grasp why it was still letting my character walk over the tiles that I had clearly set. I tinkered around for a while, but still couldn't think of any plausible explanation. That's when I posted the topic.

Then, after posting, I realized that I had two different tilesets, very similar, but with a different E tab. The one where I had set the Walk/Don't Walk tags is the one I had been using for all of the maps I created today. I didn't realize the map that I was working on was using a different tileset.

So really, no problem what-so-ever. I'm just an unobservant dolt.

ahhhhh, the old two-similar-tilesets trick :) Been there, done that ;)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
