Hello again :D
I have this problem: my arrow keys don't work properly. When i press one of the arrow keys, for example the up key, the character goes to the opposite direction before going to the right direction. Then the character suddendly stops and just gets stuck. I tried to unplug my mouse and other devices but nothing. I also tried to restart the laptop, to disable the touchpad and still nothing. What do i have to do to point my charachter in the right direction without detours? xD I noticed on the internet that i'm not the only one with this problem but i haven't find a solution yet.
Please help me XD

It sounds like the first actor in the party doesn't have an overworld sprite, so the actor that seems to be moving strangely is actually following an invisible party leader. Did you by any chance clear the data for the default actors without actually removing them from the starting party?

Good thinking. Did you change your party members at the start of the game? And did you change them by deleting slots in the Actors tab? That's not the right way to do it - the System tab has the starting party, and if you don't want someone there at the beginning of the game, you delete them in the System tab, not in the Actors tab.

The problem keeps being there. I am sure that this is exactly what everyone has been mentioning to me but I still don't know how to solve it. I have only two characters (that I created) in the game, I need to start with one and then switch to the other one. In the previous makers I was able to do that by simply taking one out and adding the other one, but this doesn't seem to work now. When I am in the new screen with the second character, it suddenly assumes there are two "ghost" characters that don't really exist as they are not in the database. If the directional issues are caused by this, I don't know how to remove these two "ghost" characters and leave the main character only. Is there a way to create by default only one character into a party and then later add more? I'm attaching images for the whole issue.

As I thought: you cleared the data for the default actors, but forgot to remove them from the starting party.

Check the system tab in your database. I'm willing to bet it looks like this:
Knipsel4.JPG

Notice the two empty spaces above Harold? Those are actors, but since their data is cleared, they appear as blank spaces. Click those empty spaces and press delete to properly remove them from the starting party.

As for adding and removing party members as the game progresses: there is an event command that lets you do that (first tab, second column).

I deleted the characters and they were not there anymore. I had to do " right click -> delete" from free space and it seems to work now

Thanks for your your patience, I really appreciate it!:kaoluv:

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
