Problem with Victor Engine Animated Battle

    I have installed Victor Sant's Animated Battlers and Actors Battlers. I followed Passive Lion's tutorial on how to use it so my settings look like this:

    Frames: 3
    Rows: 4
    Mirror and Invert: False
    Mode and action: :charset

    I imported the Actor1 character set into my Battlers folder and set it as my main character's battler:

    <battler name: Actor 1>
    <character index: 5>

    But every time I initiate a battle it looks like this:

    Someone suggested that I put the file name and settings under VE_SPRITE_SETTINGS like so:

    But it is still showing the entire character sheet instead of just one character.
    Does anyone know where I might have gone wrong and how to fix this?

    With the default settings you can only use a single character sheet. You’d have to cut out the actor you want to use into a single sheet. Your sheet has more than 3 frames and four rows.

    It has been a while since I’ve used this script, but if I remember correctly character index refers to the specific sheet you wish to use, so for example. Actor_sv_05 would be a different sheet of animations. Such as taking damage, or attacking.

    Edit: I’d reccomend heading over to victor’s site and reading through the script’s user Manuel.
