Problems with conditionals in SumRndmDde's HUD Maker

Hi there. I'm having some difficulty with SumRndmDde's HUD Maker.
What I'm trying to do is create an image which appears whenever you're selecting the actions for an actor and stays invisible during battle or whenever you're selecting actions for another actor.
What I want to happen:

For a conditional I've tried
Code:
BattleManager.actor.id == 1
which does nothing and
Code:
BattleManager.actor().currentClass().id == 1
which temporarily works, but if I back out to the Fight/Escape menu or move from selecting attacks to the battle phase of a turn I receive this error.



The image then disappears from the screen and will not return unless I add the conditional again during the attack selection menu.

Is there any way to achieve this?

So I'm practicing ITC with a spirit box, and decide to try to contact my deceased soulmate. It actually gave me multiple identifiers. Been scratching away at my game and making progress, but just had a revelation. I'm working in full screen and adjusting all my pictures accordingly, but will they resize if someone's screen is smaller?? I hope this doesn't turn out to be a problem later.
