I'm trying to make a parallax map in rpg maker mv with orange overlay, but when I turn off "Quickstart", the "Par" layer Disappears and the only thing there is is the "Ground" layer :/ Could someone help me?

how have you configured the plugin, especially the switches and variables?
that sounds as if you got a mixup in your switch functions.

it would also help to see a screenshot of the event.

what are you using your switches 1 to 4 for?
That part is still default, and unless the plugin is the very first you did reserve switches for, it is very likely that those switches are already used somewhere else, causing that effect.

For now, i'm only using the first switch as a condition for other event to run. But the other switches are clean

Even if i make a new project with nothing but the plugins, it keeps happening

you need to configure the plugin, and that means selecting unused switches for the four functions, giving the plugin the IDs of those selected switches and then naming the switches accordingly so that you know which switch is used for what.
and then of course USING those switches according to the instructions in the help section.

because that is the function of those switches: to decide which overlay should be displayed and which not.

How do I do that? I read the instructions that comes in the plugin and nothing seems to mention something similar

Orange overlay was written as a replacement for a similar plugin from someone else.
That someone else had committed art theft to the point of selling tiles as his own that he had no right to sell, and everyone didn't want to support that by using the plugins he wrote as well (even if those plugins were most likely ok).
So it might be possible that the instructions for Orange Overlay were a bit short, because those who used it already had followed the instructions from the original plugin...

Hey I also have a Problem with orange overlay Plugin. Everything works fine if I playtest a "new game" but if I load a save, the overlays doesnt show up. I tried it with Mapnotes and with parallel Event in the Game, but it's always the same Problem - New Game shows everything like it is supposed to, if I load a save it doesn't show...
Can someone help me, what i'm doing wrong here? Thanks for ur Time :)

Save/Load complete. Kind of. There should be trinkets or medals that fit in the empty space of the bookmarks to show progression. Was gonna post it earlier, but I couldn't link GIFs. Don't mind all of them having a style level of 000, it just means they're all nakey and don't have anything equipped.
