It's really too early for me to be asking this, but I've been curious for a long while. I know that the Early Project Feedback forum is for games that have actually been begun (as opposed to still being in the purely conceptual phase), but I'm wondering whether the game needs to be in some sense "finished" (with the main plot fully playable), or if just having a map or two done is enough, or if it's something in-between. I'm sure there's some leeway, but I wanted to ask. The Early Project Feedback rules thread isn't quite clear on the point.

I looked so I will reply. =) Personally, I think after you have the concept, some characters, and a general direction that would be 'Early Project' worthy. If its fully playable that would be a demo and beta test ready type game in my mind. BUT, I honestly don't know either. Have you looked at the other projects listed and see how far they are?

The early project rules are phrased that way to allow for projects that are incomplete and beginning - otherwise they would not be "early feedback" but "in development".
You don't even need a download to post there, although it helps to get feedback - the rule about it is that if you do provide a download, it needs to be easily accessable and not behind adfly links or so, but if you don't have a download ready you can post without.

But you need to have somethings, which is why the game synopsis is needed.

Alright, that makes sense. I did notice after TheSkullWolf asked that not all of the projects on that forum had download links. Thank you for the responses.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
