~Synopsis~
This may heavily change
As the Queen disappears in the middle of the night, the Prince is met by the unfortunate visit of the Witch of the Forest and her friend, who claims to know the Queen's whereabouts and is also searching for her. And thus begins the unrest in the kingdom, and the quest both to find the queen, and to find themselves...

~Characters~
Scorza is a with with a salty temper and shady attitude. She's playful, yet acid and sarcastic.
Her home is in the middle of the forest, where she houses a giant, mysterious crystal.

Gallo is a young peacekeeper who lives on the outskirts of town, keeping the monsters at bay.
He's very innocent natured and kind, and very friendly with animals.

Faris is the young prince. He's rightful and abides by the laws of the kingdom,
and is quick to apply the laws of the kingdom to whatever is breaking them.
Despite his lawfulness, he is impulsive and does not think things through.
He has a kind heart.

~Gameplay~
In CRYSTALGATE your party of 3 characters explore different Rifts, initially in search of the Queen. The game is quite linear, occasionally branching into sidequests. The characters are more or less blank slates which can be built upon by the player.

This game could be considered a follow up of sorts to Resonate.

I am also looking for a team to make this game but I'm not yet actively inviting people yet as it is still not at the level of solidness i'd like it to have before involving other people.

I like the screen-mockups! The premise is also very good. You can build a great story around it!

What are you planning to work on next?

Thanks! The premise to be honest is a bit uncooked at this point, but that's because I've created the characters before I created a plot with them lol. I'm slowly building upon what the game is meant to be. Right now I'm working on a good game flow so I can build the game upon it! Planning fun gameplay and systems, etc.

I'll also have to be smart about my maps because a single map can take 2 days (potentially much more even) to make so I really have to plan them well.

And I really like Nail Saga's backgrounds too! it looks like a superb game :D

The art stile is really interesting, and the maps you posted fit the looks of the character.

But I would suggest making the edge of the pictures a little better, because they feel cut off a black background.

Overall I'm expecting good thigs from here!

He mad, but he cute :kaopride:

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
