Inspiration is definitely a great companion to have if you focus a lot on using SP. I remember missing it while doing class combinations to make sure that the game can be completed even if I use classes that don't focus on damage as much. Hunters are the only class with access to perfect defense without the use of mimic, but they can also still use mimic to use the last attack of an ally.

Giving your Specialist an attack move could help with your counter problem, in any case my best magic attacker was always the specialist; not to mention you have access to steal, so there are enemies very soon who will have better magic attack augs you could steal that will attack twice with a magic instead of once. Actually Tentra from the second dungeon has the next level ice attack if I'm not mistaken.

Edit:

I'm editing this post to say I caught a few more skill related bugs thanks to a video playthrough of an older demo. Things like Pepper Spray raising attack and other targeting oddities should be completely fixed now. The random targeting was caused by an ai script that was meant for enemies, but affected players too.

So, I finished a new (normal) playthrough using different classes this time.

I basically started a whole new game and I also created a female character this time...ahahah:

The Main Character (Dalphia) -I'm looking at you Scythuz, it's not crossdressing, just a female character...ahahah-

Class: Berserker

Skills Most Used: Heavy Smash, Recklessness, Sharpen

Kairos

Class: Assassin (same class but with different skills used this time)

Skills Most Used: Cocktail, Lucky Strike, Stasis Steal

Laiera

Class: Paladin

Skills Most Used: Radiance, Holy Raze, Sacrifice

Zelkas

Class: General

Skills Most Used: Rally, Strategize, either Double Slash or Heavy Smash

I admit it was easier this time, but probably because I already know well the game and I know also how to deal with most of the bosses. Cocktail was so much fun to use because of the random effects (but most of the time I was unlucky to be honest...ahahahah). I found Rally and Strategize particularly helpful too, since these skils doesn't use up a turn, so you can buff all your party instantly and that really helped a lot.

I haven't used Disorder Strike against the bosses this time, so they were a bit more challenging.

I might defeat the anomalies again, who knows? I'm insane...ahahah

Wow is it custom tilesets or DS pack? If it's DS pack which one is it? It's looking great! I ought to try this one out as soon as I can :)

It's mostly the DS+ Pack, but some areas like the 7th dungeon use tiles from the normal DS pack as well. I fell in love with the art style especially since I'm a pixel person. I'm glad it looks interesting; I hope you have fun playing it!

I would have gone with Dalphina, Dalphie, or Dalphne myself xD

I always had way more fun than I probably should have using Cocktail, but I usually got lucky and obtained the best status effects in the game. The only ones you can't get through Cocktail are the passive states. It would definitely be insane to tackle the anomalies again.

Downloaded, about to play it for the first time. I'll try to leave a review of it when I finish :3

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
