Hello and welcome to the official recruitment thread for our game Prophecy Realms! This game initially began as an idea from user IXVI. Since then, IXVI has branched out and began forming a team to produce the game. With the initial recruits, Prophecy Realm has seen some early development, but alas, we are hoping we can add more members to our team!About the Game (Written by: IXVI)
Prophecy Realms offers an engrossing experience with enticing characters, Interesting aesthetics, a powerful back story as well as alluring back stories that'll fascinate the player to delve deeper in to each characters subconscious. I have held this project very sacred as I have been both writing and planning the Prophecy Realm Saga out for a few years. Therefore, I keep it pretty exclusive to mainly my recruits. I've kept this project pretty vague for a while, but, we are in need of some very important factors to actually produce some gameplay, videos and screen shots. Thus, I feel it's time to give out a few reveals on our game, starting with our Combat system.
Our battles follow traditional turn-based RPG 4-party member format with an added special meter known as the "Karma Commencement" allowing the player to unleash a devastating special attack depending on how much damage the player has taken (more of these moves can be unlocked). Our next feature in line we call (for now due to text box limitations, obviously.) the "Combo Con Carne" which allows certain party members to team up together during battle and perform a flurry of two or more characters attacks whether it be physical or non-physical. Which, leads me to our final feature to be unveiled (until our next reveal) "Magu" (Pronounced: Mah-juu) essentially, it is our magic system which allows certain characters to cast "Magic", as im sure the majority of you caught on to that. Finally, i'd like to say that there WILL be more reveals on the way and that this is NOT the final product.
Future updates will be including: Art style, a few characters (The main hero, his best friend and...) a new battle feature, first boss encounter, environments and more. I would like to say It is in our highest hopes that we can produce this game which boats our players throughout an adventure involving various lore/mysticism, twisting antagonist(s) and a hunger to venture forth in to the unknown. We hope this bit has gotten you a little more familiar with our project and hopefully will attract who we need to assist us to get this project from crawling to walking.
Story Synopsis (Written by: Neko-Nee & IXVI)
"What begins as a trip to the festival, intended for celebration and exciting events, quickly takes a wrong turn, landing the hero and his best friend in the dungeon of a wealthy and corrupt politician. Unbeknownst to the pair, the universe has a grander scheme for the two...as well as many others who will accompany them on their journey. An enormous creature believed only to exist in legend crashes the walls of their confinement. Thus, they are no longer confound to an unjust demise. After their escape from the mad mans manor and Climbing amidst the rubble, they manage to reach the surface, only to discover that everything they once knew has been reduced to nothing more than ash, ruin and decay.
Transcending beyond mortality, seeking redemption for their pasts, and defying the laws of those who govern the universe; of all life. The hero and his acquired team must put an end to the extinction of their lives amongst other life, as well. Which has been caused by none other than ...."

IXVI - Project Leader, Lead Story Developer, Character Development, Rough Concept Art
IXVI (pronounced "ihks-vee") has been conceptualizing his ideas for almost 4 years. It was only recently that he decided he was ready to turn them all into a full-fledged game. With RPG-Maker VX ACE as the engine of choice, it was then that he came to the community and opened up his project to other individuals who would be willing to help.
Skaiano - Project Secretary, Parallax Mapper, Public Relations, Temporary Concept Art
Skaiano came across the RPG-Maker programs upon the release of VX. For the most part, he just lurked on the VX forums for about 4 years, never managing to actually produce a full game. But in that time he did manage to learn a number of things including his favorite thing to do in RPG-Maker: Parallax Mapping. This skill is what eventually brought him to the community through his parallaxing service thread. It was here that IXVI discovered skaiano, and eventually hired him.
Neko-Nee - Lead Story Development, Dialog, Character Consultant, Scene Supervisor
Neko came across the RPG-Maker systems by accident. By discovering it, she grew quite interested in the idea of making a game of her own. She soon got this feeling however, that she would not be able to do so alone. It was then that she found the community, and the many others who wished to make games as well. She responded to many people searching for talent, offering them what skills she had. By then she had caught IXVI's eye. Upon being accepted to the team, she has conveyed feelings of excitement and is confident that the final game will exceed even her expectations.
