Problem is that when it is on steam, MOST people assume the game/software is legitimate. I'm probably one of the few who would look at a game I bought and go: Hmmm... I wonder if this game is actually by this 'developer'.

Granted, in some cases it is a lot more obvious for me due to the fact that I do beta testing and might come across a game/program I beta tested for one developer and find it under some other developer's name with a different title... Kind of an instant red flag there. Or I might recognize the style of a specific writer/artist/programmer/etc.

Or I might notice unusual activity when I'm running the game/software.

Well... If you are concerned that your game may get hacked, the best thing you can do as a developer is to cryptographigally sign the app and compile the JS files. Signing the app with a key (yes, nwjs does let you sign web apps but it needs some technical knowledge) will prevent unsigned code from running. All that is needed is to compile nwjs with your own Crypto key.

What is to stands for RMN? is rpgmaker.net
I'm just afraid someone will steal the project and put it on the store (google play/ apple store), is there anything that limits this?

I hate to say it but if someone(not me) wants to decrypt a file they can and will, although I only decrypt what ransomware does to my computer but I don’t have too because I don’t get ransomware or dodgy illegal files because I am not stupid and I respect the law.
