Ho~kay. So. I may be missing something obvious or maybe there's the perfect other plugin just waiting for me to find it, but I'm at a loss.

I'm using yanfly's item disassemble script to be able to disassemble an item into a weapon. It works. But it does it straight from the item menu itself... I'd like it to be a separate menu I can call from an event or something.

In practice, ideally it would be so the player can walk up to a disassembly machine in a house, choose among the disassemble-able items they have in the inventory, and toss one in to get their weapon. Bring up menu, pick X, get Y. Is there a way I can do that??? And if not, is there another script that might be better to use? I'm already using the synthesis script for another purpose, so that's out of the question unfortunately.

Any ideas? What do? Thanks.

you could event the entire workout and make a range of items
that can be used to get back a range of weapons.

if you want a menu or layout, you can try SRD_HUDMaker and event
the things inside.

if you want each item have a fixed weapon to gain, you can event that
as well with item select choice and use a variable.

there is a plugin for the item selection with a specified category which
can have multiple ways of using it for using 1 or 2 or more.

otherwise, can you explain more what you seek, maybe with possible
mockup how the scene should look like so good coders can help you
in the direction?

I don't know if it's still available, but I use Mr Trivel's Salvage Items plugin.
Does what you want and has a plugin command to call the scene when needed.

FF Opera Omnia is in quite a bizarre state right now. As soon as the tutorial is completed, the game levels all characters to level 70 and makes all new characters start at level 70.
