I want my penguins to go into a frenzy when shot with projectiles, but not when jumped on. Right now, I have it set up so that Walking Right goes to Frenzy Right (increased speed) when gadget is attacked. However, I think the game interprets this to mean being jumped on as well, because the penguins sometimes die and sometimes enter frenzy mode when jumped on. Is there a way to include a condition that would either only apply to projectiles or otherwise exclude being jumped on as an attack?

The thing is, when you jump on them you are technically attacking them because of how the tutorials set up the boss' HP and you have to attack him to get it to go down. So an easy way to fix this would be to make it so that the boss' HP goes down when stepped on, and get rid of your player animation's attack collision detection.

I am sure there are other ways to make it work, but off the top of my head that is the easiest that comes to mind.

Got distracted... again. So now I'm on project.... 5? 6? I can't even remember off the top of my head how many plugins I have in the works. Though I blame the latest two on a coding youtuber I watch occasionally. He codes in C++ but walks through the process well enough that it inspires me to do similar things for JS plugins. So... blame him for my lack of activity. lol
It's my birthday today! Mom and I went to my favorite Japanese restaurant for lunch and they gave me a Japanese dessert as a birthday surprise. Their salad is SO GOOD. Now we're back home chilling!
Game Theory is great to practice and all... but it is zero substitute for playtesting a game and saying, "Am I having fun?".
