QFG:EE is a fan remake project of Quest For Glory 1 VGA, the classic Adventure Game RPG Hybrid, using RPG Maker MV.

The plan is to expand the stat system, add more story-line/quests, more areas to explore (such as a Goblin underworld), bigger bosses (such as a Dragon), voice acting, modern conveniences, more ways to die and more ways to avoid death.

We've already had very helpful feedback from fellow fans of the game and would appreciate
more help from voice actors, dialogue and story-line writers, artists, walking QFG encyclopedias and Javascript. Thanks

This is just so nice to look at. Keep going on your great working. I'm always surprised on what kind of games can be created on the engine without it screaming hello I was making with RPG Maker:popcorn:

As I'm old enough to remember playing the original EGA (16 color) version of this game as a kid, I certainly can appreciate the effort here.  Your biggest problem is going to be perspective, as the backgrounds are designed for a character that will get smaller the further from the camera it is, which seems likely to be an issue for RPG Maker.  Looking good thus far!

Thanks for your encouragement.

Yes this is an issue. I'm using the Sprite Zoom plugin by Aramis-IX and Yanfly's Region Events to try and emulate it. Thank you.

Just a bump on this topic for this forum, I've updated all the screenshots and description. Been hard at work on this since my first post, you can see most of the updates on the Facebook page, which has garnished considerable attention from fans of the original games.

Kudos on the artwork! That is all original and not just taken from the old game, correct? I remember playing a Quest for Glory, but I don't remember these particular scenes so that this is original artwork it blows my mind :o . One scene that stands out in my mind from that game was the weeping widow in the graveyard who turns into a ghost. I still think about it all the time. It was just so creepy, and amazing that a game could create such atmosphere.

Guys, Tutorials is for posting tutorials you have written, not for asking for help. Use the Support forums for that please.
Trailer is almost done for the game i can't wait to show it to everyone
I've got good news and bad news. The good news is, there aren't any bad news to report. The bad news is, there aren't any good news to report.

Or as others say, yesterday was uneventful.

I am curious that can you "understand/get the point" about what does this place do generally?
