Question about autorun events

I'll make this quick:

If I have two autorun events that activate at the same time upon entering the map, which one is given priority?
Because I know for a fact they don't actually run at the same time.

I don't know for sure, but I imagine that the "Priority ___ Characters" button has something to do with that.

The button has three states: Priority is Below Characters, Priority is the same as Characters, and Priority is Above characters. I think that this could have something to do with that.

I think it's the event with the lower event Id.

if you have autorun event 006 and autorun event 007, than 006 will run,
and 007 might be skipped, while you cant run both. and it might crash because they
both want to run.

so if 1 autoeevent is running, make sure the other autorun event only run:
a) on the next page
b) with a switch or variable to run after the 1st is completed.

I suggest you follow the link to the tutorial "bughunting" in my signature, that is where I wrote something about parallel processes, autoruns and their order in the game loop.

That said, I strongly suggest you rework the logic by combining the two autoruns.
Because if the two autoruns are truly independent, then the order should not matter - and if the order does matter, then you are always better off by taking control of the order by placing all commands into a single autorun with one or the other sequence being first.

If you think you have a special case where that doesn't fit, please show us what those two autoruns do and we can see if we can help you improve them.
