question about battle engine/battle system

hello i was wondering if any one knows of a battle system script that changes it to a system similar

to final fantasy X. like there's a bar showing the character's turns. and if a character is fast enough they could have more than 1 turn in a row or something where you could knock an enemy's turn back when a center attack and/or skill. something like that. also if it can support a system where five characters on the screen

how ever it seems that is not compatible with other battle engines.

Why would you want more than one battle "engine" in a game? They're bound to clash, as they're trying to do a lot of the same things but in different ways. If you want aspects from several different engines, I think you're better off using the engine that gives you most of what you want, and doing modifications/additions to make it do the rest, rather than bring in a completely new engine that's going to conflict.

The CTB system of FFX? I'm making one that is inspired by that, won't probably be for public though. Anyway, you could use Yami's PCTB plus it's Gauge add-on to create the FFX effect. It needs some adjustment to work with Yanfly's (if you're using a lot of his battle scripts) if I remember correctly, I used to try to use it before I decided to make my own from scratch.

to be real i end't know the yanfly was a engine. i thought it was like a small change to the menu and stuff ^^;;

the default is so boring and so over used. i don't mund it its just i seen it so much. in some ways depending on how the dame is made it doesn't offer much of a challange to me. plus i want my thing to be different.

sorry i kind of want umm style? (not sure if thats the right word to use for this ) ^^;

none of yani's scripts can be downloaded any more sadly :/

You could try to ask Yami for them. That is the closest thing I've seen to FFX's CTB.

Another option is Fomar's CTB-Addon script for Yanfly's battle engine - that was written to change Yanfly's battlescript into a CTB/ATB-Variant, and it's available on the master script list.

first link is not compatible. i could use it by it self but not sure if it can show 5 people on the screen also i want to use KMS Generic Gauge. they look cool .w.; XDD

the second link i'll see. but it seem abit crowded. not a big complant but i don't want it coving the screen if i add more then 1 monster.

maybe. i do like the abt system but its been done quite a bit. not saying no still want to see other options i can look to

I won't call the AEA one crowded, that's a really basic FFX-ish CTB UI. And well, you could probably use smaller monster sprites anyways.

and no this one i still need a bit of help on. i sent Dr. Yami a pm about 1 of her scripts but i got no reply yet. though i thought that would happend.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
