Question about choices in events.

Is it possible to have a text box and the choices display together?

Yes, have the text box display in the middle or top of the screen.

They do, as long as the Show Text and Show Choices commands are together, and not separated by a comment or any other command.


Or do you mean you want them shown in the same window, rather than one for the text and one for the choices?

Just both on screen at the same time.

So in the text box you'd have for instance:

"You want to go..."

Then a choice box with:

"East"

"West"

So I just have the text box not at the bottom of the screen? Thanks NeoFantasy.

No, it works wherever the text box is.

If you have

Show Text: You want to go ..."Show Choices: East, West ...they will both show on the screen at the same time.If this is not happening, please show a screenshot of your event so we can see what it looks like.

Found what I did wrong thanks.

I had

Text Box

Conditional Branch if you have an item

Choice set 1

Else

Choice set 2

I copied the text box into both conditions and now it works perfect. Thanks.
