Question about icons

Is it possible to be able to use 24x24 icons like in Ace, with a plugin? Or is this not doable?


Not a big fan of the new icons and I just really like Avery's icons.

You could just cut those 24x24 icons and put them into the 32x32 icon sheet.

The only other way would be a script that changes the size the icons are using.

Hmm I think cutting them would leave a massive amount of excessive space. And enlarging them isn't a good idea either :p

Well what you could do is open it in photoshop and enlarge it there.

That should preserve most of the pixelquality

The excessive space (4px to every side) wouldn't a problem as long you don't use them in the messages since everything that is using the icons is presenting it at 32x32px.

Here's an example:



I would suggest removing the space infront and after the icon if you use it in messages.

Have you seen Yanfly's VX Ace icons he resized for MV? Those look excellent!

Saw them, tried to do the same with Avery's icons but haven't been able to get it right so far.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
