Looking at all the games I've seen made on RPG Maker VX Ace, they all have a similar view for settings. They all look sort of, small, so to speak. Characters look a little too mini, and the setting itself seems more compact than what I had thought. Of course, I don't know how this plays actually, as I do not get this title until the support give me a new code that works (Thanks to the user who was kind enough to give me one.), etc. But on topic, I have two images of how I see VX look, and what I would prefer.

^ How I ussually see VX games look.

^ How I would like for it to resemble.

---

I'm not sure if you can change the "zoom" of maps, but if it's possible, could some tell me how its done so I can get this correct when I start working with this maker?

Actually, the second looks more of an rpg maker xp-ish  kind of game. Anyway, here is a zoom script for the sprites.

What your looking for is probably at the 150% or 200% zoom. You could also just adjust xp sprites and import to rpg maker vx ace.

For the tilesets, it actually mainly depends on the level of the tile-sets art.  :)

Oh, by the way, what game is the second screen shot :)  I would very much want to play it :D

or you can opt to simply request for larger graphics (those in the 2nd pic is about the same size as the XP/Mack style characters)... +playing in full screen mode helps

Of course, you can. There are tons of horror games made with RPG Makers.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
