Question About NeMV's Tags Plugin

I've tried contacting the author of the plugin about this but unfortunately had no response.

My question about the plugin is would I be able to use this plugin to create 'item pools'?

As an example, say I have Common, Uncommon and Rare as different tags on items. So, when the player opens a chest, I want it to give them a random item with the 'common' tag. Is this something that would be possible to achieve with this plugin?

This requires some good knowledge of JS and MV core files. I have just thought of this method:
- When player open a chest, write some codes to run through all items in the database.
- Check each item ID if it has tag "common".
- Push those items ID into an array.
- Take X random items from that array and give them to player.
- Empty the array for further use.

Unfortunately, I don't have that much knowledge about JS and MV core files to deal with this.
