I'll make it short:

I wanted to use Victor's animated battle system for my first game and unfortunatly I don't understand a thing Oo I just don't know how to import the graphics. Or rather, I don't know what file it should be (gif or a normal png like the normal sprites. And if it should be png, how many frames and what size should it have?)

This is the kind of battle sprite I thought I could use:

It would be great if someone could help me ^^°

I had a very hard time learning it myself, but I understand it after tinkering and doing alot of reading. Right now I'm at work, though, so hope you don't mind I'll post up information you'll find very valuable when I come back later. It'll be a few hours, though. ^^"

sprite sheets need to be a certain ratio (can't remember right now), and with the $filename.png. And that said, PNGs is what's supported. I don't think gifs are.

Character sprites are 32x32, and their sheets are 3x4 (3 columns and 4 rows) making them 96x128 pixels, and are PNG files with transparent backgrounds. If you go to the program's Resource Manager (F10), you can browse through all the RTP stuff to get a better picture of how resources work and what they look like. Feel free to export the RTP stuff as well and look at them in a image-editing program like Photoshop or GIMP.

How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
