Question about Yanfly's Item Synthesis Plugin

I'm wondering if this plugin would make it possible to have an npc perform the synthesis, as opposed to the character opening a menu and selecting synthesis. More like the tutorial video where the character is giving items to an event instead of user controlled. I would like to use something like that in events to create timed synthesis.
