Okay, this's kind of a complex game style, so I'll explain it.

Game Explanation:

The game is set up as a horror/mystery/puzzler game. with the point of the game is rescuing your friends from a murderous mansion.(Yes, cheesy) Now here's where some uniqueness and complexity comes in. You can play as any of the 18 friends you rescue throughout the game. However, if your HP drops down to 1, Demons will begin spawning around you and you will be forced to flee the house. If a demon catches you however, you will no longer be able to use that character, and that character will become a demon and go into the room where their death occurred. The game auto saves if your character dies, and you can save in the area where you can choose characters. If you find the demon you have the option to fight him, and his health will be half of the original characters, and other factors will reflect the dead character.

Questions:

3. How would I be able to set the number of saves available to one?

(solved)4. How could I setup an autosave? This needs to be automatic, without the player having the option to bypass this, yet they have the option to save later in the game.

5. How could I set it up so that the when the player interacts(attacks) with an Demon(Event) a variable increases, yet when the Demon(Event) interacts(attacks) with the player the players HP drops.

6. How would I setup the delay of an NPC's and players attacks so that the neither of the two can attack many times within a few seconds.

5 and 6 simplified: How to make a fighting system so that the NPC lowers your health when using an event trigger, yet you can attack the NPC, until you reduce the NPC's health down to Zero using a player trigger.

If you think you can only answer a few, or one of these questions. Please do share. Thank you for your time.

For question number 1, this script may be of use to you: http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/18599-character-flash/

EDIT: Also, I just found this fantastic script that could be used for the autosave function: http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/18917-basic-autosave/

(If you want an autosave to happen without a map transfer, you could always copy the map you want the autosave to occur in, and make them transfer to the same spot in the copied map with the direction set as retain and no fade)

Thanks NinjaRoy, I actually decided to revise the eventing to a simpler form, and the only thing I had left was the auto saving. So you really saved me there. Thanks.

Having revised my eventing I narrowed down some of the things that I'm trying to do. The above post has been edited to fit what I need now.

That's fine, also I'm not sure if it will help but you can decrease the players health with an event by using the Change HP function in the event window. Inside the new window, you should be able to figure out what you want.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
