This is my first post here, sorry if I'm in the wrong section. Also I'm not good at phrasing things, so if it's confusing I'm sorry.

1. I made a custom graphic that I want to use in my game, I just can't figure out how to use it. It's 32x64, I want to use it like a bed in the default tilesets (best conparison I can make), I just can't figure out how to use it.

2. I want to use a custom graphic as an icon, how do I do that?

Sorry if this is obvious.

1) if it's a tile graphic, it needs to be included in a tilesheet and then placed in the tileset.
If it's a sprite graphic, it needs to be in one of the spritesheet formats (usually 3x4 pictures with a $ in the filename)

2) you need to go to the resource manager, export the existing icon sheet, open it in an image program like GIMP or Photoshop, then add it below the other icons and reimport the new iconsheet with the resource manager.

yes, but why go the extra steps to export it and reimport it? You could just open the game folder directly and edit it from there.

You're talking about the RTP. If you edit the RTP it will affect all other games you've made and all other games you WILL make, as well as any game you download that uses the RTP. You would then also have to include the RTP whenever you distribute your project because other people would need YOUR version of the RTP as their own would not have your mods.

Bottom line ... if you want custom graphics, put them into your project's folder, not into the RTP.

Unless you ARE talking about the game's graphics folders. In that case you do still need to export it, as default resources aren't actually IN your project's folders, but in the RTP folders. Put it into your project's graphics folder, and you won't need to re-import because it's already in the right place.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
