Quick question about flash

So i'm working on this idea, and I keep circling back to how much better I feel it could be if I could implement flash animation for the cutscenes and whatnot. Is this at all possible? If not, does anyone know any other way to add animated cutscenes? 

Also, I should mention that I am pretty new to the program. I understand alot of it, but I also don't know a lot about what the program can do, so I apologize if the answer is right in front of me.

you cannot embed a flash scene into RM. That would need a full script for running the flash - and such a script does not exist and is too much work to be done easily.

The only way you could add an animation is by making it a movie in a format that RM recognizes (sorry, don't know the formats) and then use the play movie command on that.

The usual way for making a cutscene however is to make it a map and control all events on it (disabling player input) if you're talking about a story-cutscene.
