Quick Question: Hide Target in Animations?

Exactly what it says on the tin. I know we can make the enemies flash in animations, but is it possible to hide them for a frame or two? Thanks!

Hopefully somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there's a built-in hide target function in the MZ animations. It's possible with the MV style animations (which you can use from MZ if that's your thing), but otherwise I think you'd need a plugin to do that.
