Quick question on choosing battle system

I really like the way the side view battle systems are but with some enemy sprites like the demon king that face toward you, does it look dumb? Just wondering because that's the system i think i want to use.

Also, where could i download this and exactly how would i download it? I'm going to buy the full version today.

It does looks silly I think, and if you looked a bit on google I believe there's an four directional sprites for those big guys in aces RTP.

I think you would need custom battlers and battle-sheets for a side-view, because in a lot of side-view battlers (I'm thinking Final Fantasy IV here), when the enemy does something, there is an animation showing what the enemy did.  This needs to use battle sheets because that shows the frames of, say, the Demon King casting Eternal Darkness.

Okay I'll take a look at them. I just like being able to actually see your characters perform actions it looks more lively. I'll take a look at those links and hopefully it won't be too complex.

Just to clarify one thing.

You might need to use some scripts to use the sprites....

or edit them to do stuff in a more... traditional way (FF6 style for isntance).
