Well I figured I would suck it up, and just get it over with(combing tiles in a past game I was working into tile sets), and It's going too smooth(you know, whenever a computer is involved, It's Murphy's Law), I created a Floor Tileset, and just simply selecting them for an A slot in the editer, is allowing B-E tile to layer on top of them.

Now would it be that simple if I threw lets say a custom torch tile in the B-E slot, would it automatically beable to go on any tile set to A, without replacing the A tile(or would I need to format it differently)?

Tile B-E will always appear above any A-tile... but remember that each of the A sheets are formatted differently so make sure your new sheet has the correct format

Yeah, that's how A tiles work. Any B-E tile will be placed over an A tile rather than replace it, its basically like a different layer.

Edit: couple seconds slow...every time.

Ok, I didn't know if I had to do anything special for them(specifically in script or something to the tilesets them selves), well that's easier then I thought it was gonna be lol

Yea I notice that, A5 works perfectly, A3 sucks(I really don't see much of a point for A3 in general), A2,/A4 kind of works, and A1 only shows the first tile.

Looks like I'll be using my floor tiles on A5, but considering how many tiles you can fit on a single tileset, that shouldn't be a problem, thanks

that's because as I said, each A sheet have different formats... A1-A4 are autotiles... and each of them are still differently formatted from each other... you can look at the RTP tilesets to see how each one is made...

this is the normal use of each A sheet

A1 are water autotiles

A2 are ground autotiles

A3 are outside wall and roof autotiles

A4 are used for inner walls and ceilings for indoors, while outdoors used them too for tree walls and cliffs, still autotiles

A5 - general purpose tilesheet for A which works like the B-E sheets, but have a smaller capacity in terms of number of tiles

That is because each of the Autotile-Formats has a different purpose.
A3 walls have special functions that allow you to simulate a two-level-dungeon (walking on the top parts of the walls when you can get there by a ladder), A1 are animated (they don't show just the first tile, ingame the picture changes between the first, second and third sequence of the animated autotile) and so on...

Oh ok(aren't the sprites too big for that, oh well), so that's what A3 is for huh.

Oh ok, so that's how it handles the animation, I was wondering how the system knows how to anime stuff(I think Byond handled animated water the same way come to think of it, I have many water that is similar, I always thought it was done by using a gif, guess not).

Thanks for the clarification(I looked through the help file, but it really doesn't help with much other then RGSS).

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
