I'm trying to figure out a way to have a Rage skill not waste a turn. Typically, a standard Rage skill will take a turn to apply the Rage state and you're done. I'd like to apply the Rage state and attack the same turn. Assume the default battle system. Anyone know how to do this?

Thanks in advance!

With a common event you can use the Force Attack command. Attach that to your Rage skill and you do something like this. :)

if it is just about adding the state to the skill user while attacking, simply make the skill an attack skill and use damage coding to add a state to the skill user.
There is a topic on how to use the damage formula, I don't know the exact code for MV atm.

I went with SwiftSign's approach. It was super easy and did exactly what I was looking for. The character goes through the brief rage animation and then randomly attacks an enemy. Perfect! Thanks!

Your suggestion was great too, Andar. I always forget about being able to script right in the formula box. I'm almost positive that I'll use this technique for some things before I'm done with my game. Thank you as well!

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
