Welcome to my Logo Workshop!

Yeah I created this workshop just because I wanted to do something for the community.

It's been some time since I created logos for people, so if my skills are rusty forgive me.

Update Section:

Status: Taking Requests

Batch 1:

Request 1: Levi W: Wanderer's Studies

Request 2: Joporai1990: Tales of Valor: Fallen Goddess

Request 3:

Request 4:

How does Raines system work?

as you see above me I have a "Batch" with 4 avaliable request spots; when these are full; I will stop taking requests for that batch.

That means I wont be taking requests untill I've completed those requests. check the "Status" to see if I am taking requests.

if it says "Not taking requests" well then it's pretty self explanatory right?

What requests do I accept:

I accept: Logos or Titlescreen texts ( New Game, Continue, Exit...etc)

I do not accept: Titlescreen (as I have never worked with it), Game Over screens (same reason)

Styles: still working on some...but not sure if I want styles, I know it makes it easier for myself though...I'll see stay tuned.

I guess I have to show some work before anyone requests right...my style ranges a lot, but I am still in a learning process.

Examples:

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

6.

7.

8.

Hey there ^^

those Logos are looking really nice ^^

and the "code" would be to put the normal hyperlink(the chain icon) around your image code ;)

Beautiful stuff!

Game Title: Wanderer's Studies

Theme: Old/Low/Dark Fantasy - Calligraphy

Preferred Color: Dirty desaturated tan

Additional Info: I'd like it to be curvy, but not true "handwriting". All Capital is preferred, and the first letter of each word should be larger than the rest. The general idea is making it "Book-ish" or "Scroll-ish." Perhaps similar to your 3rd example. If you could have a open hard-covered book in the same region as the Rose in your 3rd example, that'd be awesome!

Text: Wanderer's Studies

I have zero talent in this area, and I've tried to explain it as best I can... however, I give you full artistic license.

Let me know if you need anything else, or anything clarified... and I'll edit this post.

Sure thing... I'll get it done.

I was thinking something in this style; with a book in the background to come.

I was trying to recreate a "half mimic" to the 3rd example, but following your details, I gotta ask though, what did you mean with the "tan" color

was it like half brownish type? cause I added the dirt effect (used a real dirt picture for that one). but I am still unsure about the color.

That's perfect!! The color is just what I was thinking! A half brown/tan type texture. I love it

Is it possible to also add a fancy line directly underneath it, in addition to the book behind it? Like something from this:

Sweet! That book looks perfectly fine to me B) I actually like that line better than the ones that I posted... matches the overall style better :) I can't really think of anything that needs to be changed. I mean, you're the artist here... so unless there is something that catches your eye, I think it's good to go! :D

Even the info was thin I think I managed to squeeze an image of what you wanted, basically I was leaning more towards the metal on this one...So you tell me?

Without Vector:

With Vector: I had to try this

Well I guess that's it, unless I've totally bombed out, but I gotta say; it's important to tell the color. It's actually quite important!

Good night peeps

A lot of these have strangely pixelated letters. What program are you using?

I completely agree. I've always wanted to ask about the quality of your logos. It seems pixelated, indeed.

It's Photoshop CS5, please do tell what the problem is though. I've always made logos this way, so if somethings wrong id like to know, so I can improve the quality.

Edit: I just noticed some pixel issues within the styles themselfs, which I had to solve, but I think some of it I understand what you meant though...probably the pattern that's the main cause for the issues. and it might also be the inner lines.

Joporai1990: Yeah I changed something in the logos, since it fits the style better. Kinda kicked the up the size of the innerlines for less pixelated letters as well. in addition i played around with the pattern to make it as "cool" as possible. however I also wanted to do one with the original style, yeah im torn between, it's up to you! hope you like it anyway :)

That first one doesn't look too bad. There are still some pixels on the bottom text.

Then I believe it's an outer/inner line problem, meaning I need to use a bigger size for the outer line and inner line font, I'll try to do that more often. thanks.

However I worked on a new stylepack before I was told about this, so I'll just release it and edit any further logo's I make.
