I'd play an RPG game that had that character. There's not enough non-humanoids in RPGs these days.

I still miss Rand, Guntz, Kiwi, Mukumuku, Shiro, heck, even Repede, though he was more recent, but he's the one character that gets ignored because he's "just a dog."
