@Nio: I'm not sure what it is, but I actually like the first one you posted better. I think the angle of the mouth was a better match with the slight head tilt and the eyes were better scaled to one another. The shape of the hair I like a lot more on the second one though.

@Personigo: Awesome character design! The bright colours are a lot of fun. Especially the teal with the yellow. It's sad that the teal really gets lost on the sprite though, it makes the balance of colours not quite as nice. I would suggest trying to bring it out more, but I'm not sure the best way to suggest that. Especially since the sprite is really accurate to the character's design. HMMMmmmmm m sprites.

I should post stuff in this thread! Here, have my warm up doodle from the other day. D: Just 'cause I like it. My only goal here was to draw a hand close to the screen. Yeup.

Hands are totally the best thing to draw like ever. <3

I have to agree with Makio for the most part.  The smile just needed toned down a little bit, not change the eyes and add what looks like a boney jaw around the mouth.

You're not doing bad on the hair so far, the outline is good.
