Is there any way to set up a system similar to random battle encounters where after so many steps (or time or whatever) the player is teleported to a different map? When they walk off that map they are teleported back to where they were. I would like to get specific with it and designate where they go based on the map tile they were standing on. Think fallout 1 and 2 world map encounters. So basically instead of a battle, they end up at a, let’s say, small map with a little caravan. When they leave that map, they’re back where they were on the world map. Next time it might be something else, one of like 50 pre made random maps. It would be nice to have random battle encounters run alongside as well. I have some ideas, but what do you guys think is the most efficient way to do all this?
