Read-only attribute VXAce

When I tried to open Ace the following message popped up





I have never seen this before, but I clicked OK and Ace opened.


Does anyone know why this happened, and the consequences (if any) of it happening?

I got that when I opened the zip file you sent me yesterday too.  I imagine, in that case, something to do with the zipping changed one of the files/folders to read-only.  I wouldn't be too worried about it, but it's always a good idea to keep regular backups.

That's weird.  Anyway, just re-opened it again a minute ago, and everything looked normal, so I shall follow your advice and not worry about it.
