Hi!  I am trying to create a State that causes the owner of the state to take damage anytime the owner attempts to preform a physical move.


I have been trying to use Hime's Battle Reaction script, but so far it doesn't seem to do anything.  Here is what I have attached to the Status:


<skill reaction: 1 141 100 forced>


<reaction condition: 1>
a.state?(23)
</reaction condition>
<pre-react: 1>


Here is how it's supposed to work: skill 134 (Electro Trap) inflicts the state 26(trapped).  When someone with the state trapped tries to preform a physical move, they forced to use the move 141 (Get zapped) before continuing with their attack.

Maybe im wrong on Result.isPhysical(), it might be not the right call.

I think this is probably in the wrong place.  The info under your avatar says you are using VX Ace, and Hime's Battle Reaction Script is - as far as I'm aware - only for Ace, he hasn't ported it to MV.  (A link to the script would have clarified this for certain).  So on the basis of that, I'm going to move this.  If in fact you are using MV, please report this post and we'll move it back.

In addition, please provide a link to that script (the page on Tsukihime's web site where he describes it) so that anyone who wants to help can see exactly what the script requires.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
