This must be obvious, but how do I recolor a sprite? Ideally, I'd like to end up with several more colors for the wolf sprite that comes with the RTP. Using Photoshop has never been my strong suit...

I used GIMP 2.0s color select option, its good for simple edits, but not very professional.

Have you tried using the Color Replacement tool?  It's right under the Pencil Tool, and is a fast and easy way to give different shades to your sprites.

There are 2 ways to go about it. The easier way would be to play the hue/saturation slider until you get your optimal color.

But that's not very precise. If I want a specific color, I'd use the Color Replacement tool. Since I cannot even comprehend the theory behind matching clothes color irl, I also use a color wheel to figure out the best shade color, complementary colors, and all those fun stuff.

If you want I can do the recolors. Just tell me what color wolves you want and I'll start.

Thank you very much, Luminous. Could you leave room on the sheet for more colors? Just having black, white and brown wolves will do for a start.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
