Hi guys

So I was wondering if there is any way to create abilities that affect everyone on the battlefield in the same way some pokemon abilities work.

If you are not familiar to them, there are some abilities that create an effect on the battlefield that affects all active battlers (even if you switch someone mid fight).
Some examples are Sunny Day that buffs fire attacks or Trick Room that makes the battlers with lower AGI attack first, etc.

This abilities usually last x turns, until they are removed with a skill, until the battle ends or until someone uses other skill that replaces it (for example Rain Dance can't be active at the same time than Sunny Day).

I guess that these work in a similar way of the "Aura Effects" from Yanfly plugin in the sense that they affect all active battler but are different in the sense that they don't have a "source battler".

Is there any way to replicate these sort of effect? I'm familiar with most Yanfly plugins so if I have to use those there's no problem.
Is there other way to make this work?

Thanks for your help. :)

In battle Eventing create a page that will proc at the beginning of the battle. Then change actor state -> Entire Party, add desired state, change enemy state -> entire troop, add desired change, this event page will proc at the start of the battle once and if you want to get fancy with it , it will proc only if certain switches are on or off.
I hope this helps you...

That doesn't address my issue. It just gives a state to everyone.
If for example the player switches in a different party member, it won't be affected and the member in the backup will still have the state.

You know you can have events play every turn, right? Each turn, play a common event that checks whether people are in battle, and if so, give them the state. If not, remove the state from them.

I found a way to make effect like this work.

I mostly used the same idea as the Yanfly's "Tips & Tricks - Undo" uses.
A global state that affects everyone and then I can freely control it with note tags.

Thanks for all your suggestions.
