you can recode the graaphics and audios for greater compression before deploying.
in fact there is a folder inside the program folder where exactly that was done, ready to replace the default RTP if that is wanted.
the problem with higher compression (and the reason why this replacement isn't automatically done) is that if you increase screen size, a higher compression combined with higher screen size will result in visible quality loss. So you should only do that if your game's screen size remains below certain limits.

For .png files specifically, I use PNGGauntlet, which is a program made to compress the images. For one of the games I work on, it helped reduce the filesize by about 35-40Megabyte. But note it's a pretty processor-intensive task, so it will take quite some time if you want to compress everything.

I use tinyPNG which do the job nicely (even its up to 20files under 5MB),
F5 and you can repeat it.

I use it automatically on photoshop to reduce the size.
but the main size is the bitsize if you go to image properties.
and has no quality loss.

I'm using pngyu for my images. If you have a lot of audio files, those can be big too tho. And you should obviously delete all files that are not needed.

I don't know where you're from, and I know Internet standards vary in different parts of the world...but 100MB is not much at all for a game. Standard DSL download speeds are around 6 Mbps, which means a 100MB package would take just over 2 minutes.

So I don't know what your situation is where you're getting that much time (a dial-up connection? 56 kbps would take about 4 hours), but it definitely wouldn't be typical for your players.

As a point of reference, most RPG Maker games that I glance at are several hundred megabytes, going up into gigs. So just 100 is already very compact.
