Region ID?

    Where does one find the region ID. I think its somewhere on the bottom row but I'm looking around and cant find it.

    Region ID? You mean the one in the tilesets?
    It's in the tilesets bar thingy marked with "R"
    does that help? or was that not what you needed?

    The description of @Kyoku is where the region ID is set in MV.
    But since you're posting in the Ace support forum, that is probably the wrong answer.

    In Ace, the region setting is a third mode (map, event, region) and as such you activate the option to set the region either by the mode menu or by the button on the menu line at top.

    Yea. You place them around the map. You can then use them in event commands such as set variable or scripts.

    Yeah, If you see the picture below I have selected the Region window. Each of those numbers is a different Region and they are placed like tiles. Region.PNG

    Region data on the other hand is accessed through the get location data function in events:
    location info.PNG
    You open an event like so, select Get Location info and then you can get the region info for a tile and put it into a variable. A useful thing to do with this is to have a common event that gets the player's X location and their Y location, then uses those to get the region info for the players tile. This lets you detect if a player steps onto locations you outline with Regions.
