Removable Content?

is it possible to remove some old closed topics from our own contents page?

I find it quite annoying to have to scroll to page 3 or 4 sometimes to check old topics when someone else's or my old threads have been locked and don't need to be viewed anymore.

In otherwords, Clean contents we don't want on our profile anymore.

This is good for getting rid of closed topics, or even topics we don't plan to view anymore.

I for one have quite a few closed topics bookmarked just because of their content.

Also, when you're looking for solutions to a problem on the forum, rather than making a new post, you can view ones already made. I'm sure if you need help it would be a lot more soothing to see that the other person with your same problem found a solution (having the topic closed), rather than a topic that's still on going.

Unless you just want the topic to not be shown on your profile, I guess that makes sense.

I think what's meant is indeed that the topic no longer be shown on one's profile.  I would second that.  I would love to be able to clean out topics that I no longer want to view.

Pretty sure this is not possible, unless a plugin of some sorts exists for this, which I doubt.

But some of that content is crucial! Some people might want to look at it! And there is no need to rush. Take your time looking through the forums, it's like a (free) garage sale! You may think it's all boring but you might just find something interesting! Also a lot of those old topics that you may be looking for might be in those locked topics!

I don't think you got what I meant. lol

I'm talking about content on "our" profiles that we don't even want in there anymore.

Example

I'm not talking about removing the theads from the forums, I just don't want them in "my content" or be notified by threads I have no interest anymore, it's a waste of space.

There are great suggestions to Invision Power Services, the people that write the forum software, indeed.

Unfortunately, unless there's a plugin already, I can't promise anything. It's all up to the software creators.
