Hey so I just wanted a quick script that makes it so that when a character gets inflicted by a special status effect (I'm calling it dead) it completely removes them from the game

with no way of bringing them back. You cannot access them in the formation menu they are completely gone from the game.

I also wanted to see if there's anyway of removing in game actors in party slots versus the only way I know how to right now which is removing the actor's themselves.

As in I have 4 player characters in a party. I want for example whoever is in the 3rd character slot to be killed. This would be used in a event where it's like "Your party member's over the night sacrificed themselves in order to keep you alive." rest in piece.

This is to put it bluntly, completely based off of Lisa the Painful RPG

Change Actors will let you remove an actor from the party.

I have a state add/remove command script that would let you do this when a certain state is applied to an actor.  You'd have to check Game_Interpreter to see what command it runs to remove an actor when you use the Change Actors command, and make the state run a similar command.  I'm just not sure what effects it'll have when you run that during a battle - you'd probably have to do a refresh on the battle status window to remove the actor.

Both of the above would remove them from the party lineup, so you couldn't see them in the menu or access them with the formation command.  Making it so you can't bring them back is up to you - just don't add any events that have the ability to add them back to the party.

It sounds like you're talking about deleting actors from the Actors tab to remove them from the party.  That's not the way it goes.  The Actors tab is for all the actors who will be, could be, or have been in your party.  You just use the Change Actors command to actually put them there or remove them.  And the System tab has the Starting Party lineup - if you don't want an actor to be in the starting party, just delete them from there.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
