Hi everyone,

I just realized that "Always Dash" is still in my game's options menu despite it not having an overworld- is there any way to remove the option from the menu?

Thank you in advance for your help.

If you have Yanfly Options Core it's as easy as deleting it from the list.
It'll be in Options Categories. Just narrow it down to the setting you want to remove.
An older project I have I didn't want the Window Tone sliders so I deleted them from the list. You can delete anything from simple options to entire categories.

Thank you!

...But unfortunately, I don't have that plugin. I wasn't able to grab it before Yanfly started to charge for his plugins. Is there another way?

You can try importing this as a plugin (see attachment):
Code:
Window_Options.prototype.addGeneralOptions = function() {
// this.addCommand(TextManager.alwaysDash, 'alwaysDash'); // do not add this option
    this.addCommand(TextManager.commandRemember, 'commandRemember');
};
If you use it, I'd recommend putting it near the top of your load order. Also note that if you have other plugins that affect the options scene then you may need a different override.

Thank you so much @caethyril- it worked like a charm! You've been so helpful through this whole development cycle- the game wouldn't have been completed without you. Thank you!
