Remove enemy whitening on targeting

I'm using different targeting plugin and I want to remove this effect entirely.

Can someone help me with this?

Try saving this as a .js file and importing it as a plugin:

Sprite_Enemy.prototype.updateSelectionEffect = function() {};

I happened upon this randomly and tried importing as you suggested; I even tried putting it as 'Script' or 'Plugin' into a parallel event on my world map. No luck.

@BadLittleSeed Oh, it works for me. Quick checklist:

1. Did you save your project after importing the plugin and before testing?
2. If you press F8 during test to show the console window do you see any red error text shown there?
3. Are you using any other plugins, and if so, does it work if you temporarily turn off those plugins?

Yes, I saved my project after importing and before testing. I didn't even know about F8, but when I pressed it I didn't see any red error text. I am using other plugins, yes. It works if they're all turned off.

EDIT: Seems it was an order issue with my Yanfly battle plugins. It's working now.
