Remove/hide equip type rpg maker vx ace

Hello members, i want to ask something, i want to hide/remove equip types, so if i change the equip, there is only one type(just weapon), i have tried use visible_line_number = 1 but when i change and i move up and down , the line of other types still appear. anyone can help this problem ? thank you
